Wash with restraint

Use moderate temperatures, close buttons where useful, and avoid overloading the machine. Excessive heat and crowding distort seams and make pressing harder.

Drying matters

Hang drying gives the shirt a better starting point than aggressive tumble drying. The cloth settles more naturally and the collar, cuffs, and placket keep their line.

Pressing and storage. Press while slightly damp when possible, then let the shirt cool before wearing or storing. This helps the cloth hold shape and reduces stress around fused or structured areas.

Care is not a rescue operation. It is the habit that prevents the shirt from needing rescue.

Care rules

  • Avoid high heat unless the cloth and construction clearly allow it.
  • Do not leave wet shirts compressed in a machine.
  • Press collars and cuffs with controlled pressure.
  • Store shirts with enough space for the collar to keep its shape.

These thoughts are written to help a customer read fit, cloth, and construction with more precision before ordering.
